Monique Dior Jarrett is a National & International Wheelchair Dance Champion in the style of Ballroom and Latin in her class. Monique is also one of five Directors and the Multimedia Manager in the Community Interest Company TripleC (Creative Confidence Collective) which works to improve the access for people with disabilities within the Arts and Education.
Monique has been a model with Zebedee Talent since the end of 2017 and during that time has graced the cover of Grazia and PosAbility Magazine, modelled for the Amsterdam based clothing line Daily Paper which was featured in FGUK magazine. She has featured in National adverts including “Pharmacy2U” (as Lauren). Monique has had her portrait by Murat Ozkasim published in the first Hoxton’s ‘Portrait of Britain’ book.
She has featured in several magazines and online articles such as Iweigh, Ditch the Labels, Ripost magazine and more as a Disabled Body Positive Advocate and with this has also Collaborated with with Refinary29 and Dove for their Self Esteem article.
Monique has a small documentary about being a wheelchair dancer with her disability in the “Shake My beauty” and “Born Different” series by Truly (aka Barcroft)
She is also a Background artist with Zebedee and worked on the likes of Hollyoaks, BBC shows “The A Word” Season 3 and a series on BBC iplayer and TV called “Life”.
Monique has recently become an Influencer with Zebedee Talent and through this is working with well known brands. She has recently done a big job with Facebook featuring in one of their latest Adverts "Dance Accepts Everyone”
